Happy Birthday Dear Poppy

Today is the greatest day, it's Poppy's fourth birthday. We had a really nice day, not earth shatteringly exciting, but lovely all the same. Andy took the day off work and after opening cards and presents we made our way into town. It's market day on Fridays and we like to go and buy some flowers off the W.I. before meeting friends for a drink in a favourite cafe. Poppy loved it, it's great meeting up like this every Friday, it's amazing how we feel enpowered to put the world to rights over hot chocolate and cake!
Later we had a birthday tea with george, Grandma and Grandad. Poppy loved the dolly cake we managed to pull together, Andy baking and me decorating,Phew! Happy Birthday sweet girl x x
